More Reasons Why Justice League Needs the Snyder Cut

2 years have passed since the release of Justice League (aka Josstice League) and demand for the release of the famed “Snyder Cut” continues to rapidly grow, with more high-profile names in the film industry even voicing their support.

And with all the latest photos Zack Snyder has been releasing on the social network VERO, it seems only fit to further detail why Justice League needs the Snyder Cut.

Gritty Superheroes are Becoming Mainstream

For the past few years, the world had the notion that superhero movies should always be as light-hearted and family-friendly as the Marvel films. But recently, gritty realism in superhero movies and television shows have been becoming more accepted by the general public.

For instance, The Boys is a gritty, ultraviolent superhero show with a Snyder-esque style that’s received positive reviews and is currently Amazon Prime‘s most successful series.

And with the Infinity Saga concluded with Avengers: Endgame, now would seem like the best time for the world to embrace Snyder’s true vision of Justice League.

HOPE – A fan rooting for the Snyder Cut on Vero wrote, “I am losing hope.” Snyder’s response to him was simple: “Don’t.”

The League Has Spoken – Last November, on the two-year anniversary of the film’s release, Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck and Ray Fisher tweeted their own hashtag. While Jason Momoa and Joe Manganiello posted their hashtag on Instagram. This show of support from the film’s main cast marked the most significant breakthrough in the quest for the Snyder Cut.

Darkseid – Snyder once shared a storyboard of how we would’ve gotten a glimpse of Darkseid. But now, Snyder has revealed how epic his introduction would’ve been by sharing actual photos of the tyrannical ruler.

“My Superman” was all Snyder captioned on this photo of Superman in his regeneration suit. Further proving that Snyder Cut is not an extended version of the theatrical cut, but an entirely different movie altogether!

The Flash

The Flash was supposed to be funny but not purely comic relief in Snyder’s Justice League. Snyder Cut would’ve shown the Scarlet Speedster time-travel for the first time – an ability that is apparently featured prominently in the third act.

And based on a 3-word reply from the director to a fan, Snyder Cut’s Flash isn’t a wimp.

J’onn J’onzz – If the thought a post-credit scene featuring members of the Green Lantern Corps. wasn’t mind-blowing enough, Snyder has casually revealed a storyboard confirming that General Swanwick (played by Harry Lennix) was meant to be revealed in Justice League as Martian Manhunter.

It Does Exist!

While the Snyder Cut of Justice League has been treated as somewhat of a conspiracy by some and said to be a myth by others over the past 2 years, Zack Snyder officially confirms that the alternate version does exist.

With all the photographic evidence of its existence now laid on the table, fans can only hope that Warner Bros. will finally #ReleasetheSnyderCut. Because why not?
